This Code of Conduct outlines the standards and expectations for all participants involved in the International Protest for Family Law Court Reform. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, and effective platform for advocating for issues such as parental alienation, equal shared parenting, and other critical reforms in the family law system.
General Conduct
1. Respect and Dignity: Treat all participants, bystanders, and authorities with respect and dignity.
2. Non-Violence: Commit to peaceful and non-violent methods of protest. Any form of violence, physical or verbal, is strictly prohibited.
3. Lawfulness: Abide by all local, state, and federal laws. This includes obtaining necessary permits for gatherings and adhering to public safety regulations.
4. Inclusivity: Foster an inclusive environment irrespective of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, or political beliefs.
Communication
1. Consistent Messaging: Adhere to the agreed-upon messages and themes of the protest to ensure a unified voice.
2. Truthfulness: Ensure all communication is truthful and fact-based, especially when citing legal or statistical information.
3. Avoidance of Hate Speech: Refrain from using language that is discriminatory, hateful, or incites violence.
Safety and Responsibility
1. Personal Responsibility: Be responsible for your own actions and aware of the impact they have on others and the movement as a whole.
2. Compliance with Safety Protocols: Follow the safety guidelines provided by the organizers, including wearing any recommended attire or protective gear.
3. Emergency Situations: In case of an emergency, follow instructions from authorized personnel and assist others if safe to do so.
Cooperation with Authorities
1. Peaceful Interaction: Interact peacefully with law enforcement and other authorities.
2. Compliance with Directives: Comply with reasonable directives from law enforcement to ensure public safety and the legality of the protest actions.
Media Engagement
1. Accurate Representation: When engaging with the media, accurately represent the protest’s goals and values.

Digital Conduct
1. Social Media Usage: Use social media responsibly and respectfully when representing the protest.

Conflict Resolution
1. Addressing Disagreements: Handle disagreements within the protest community constructively and respectfully.

Accountability
1. Adherence to Code: All participants are expected to adhere to this code of conduct. Failure to do so may result in removal from the protest and associated activities.
